My stay at Arima Onsen Gekkoen Yugetsusanso was utterly good, though I noticed some dated aspects in the decor. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and close to hiking trails. The onsen experience was fabulous, but thin walls did allow some noise from neighboring rooms.

I had a good stay at Arima Onsen Gekkoen Yugetsusanso. The blend of traditional ryokan experience and Western-style amenities made me feel pampered, though the antique décor showed its age. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and the onsen facilities were fantastic, but the thin walls were a slight drawback as I could hear too much from neighboring rooms. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place for its charm and relaxation.
